Want to know how to become a florist?
Learn how at Bloom College by enrolling into our upcoming Floristry Career Change Course.
Bloom College is a well-respected and dynamic provider of floristry training. Our years of combined skills, knowledge and passion make this course the right choice if you are wishing to change careers, or begin a career in Floristry.
We have developed the course to best suit a smooth transition to the Floristry industry, whether it to be to work in a florist shop, or open your own business. Our knowledge as Florists, Educators and Business owners, has helped us develop the curriculum and units for this course with both a practical and theoretical component to cover all aspects of the specifics and fundamental skills relevant to the industry.
Our passion for both Floristry and Teaching, makes this course a very exciting and dynamic addition to our business and we are excited to be able to offer this course, delivering positive outcomes to all participants.
We see our point of difference, as being our small dedicated and passionate team, all working hard to deliver floristry skills to the wider community. Our focus is on Floristry, and the creative sidelines to this very creative career.
So our focus is clear, and our knowledge and dedication is strong. Also, we believe enabling our participants the opportunity to get real, hands-on skills on the job essential as part of this course. It develops confidence and learning through real time scenarios. We are working hard with our industry links to be able to provide an ‘internship program’, which will enable another insight into the industry, out of the classroom environment. This to us is a clear advantage to our students and one that can ultimately lead to employment opportunities, and relevant experience in the industry.
Due to the creative nature of floristry, we believe it is very important to develop a portfolio, throughout your studies, and we will help you with the development of this throughout the course. Throughout our years of teaching, we have found students who have well developed; thorough portfolios go into interviews with more confidence and far more evidence of their skills than those with simply a resume to provide evidence of relevant skills and experience.
We have developed this course to deliver floristry career transition skills, and we believe we have the experience, qualifications, breadth of knowledge and most importantly the passion to deliver this course, and deliver successful outcomes to our students.
