Chamomile

I’m absolutely crazy for these “wildflower” bouquets! Perfect for a country style or relaxed wedding vibe.⠀ ⠀

It’s so interesting to see Baby’s Breath (Gypsophila or Gyp) come back into fashion but I am loving the use of Chamomile as well! Not only does it make a tasty bed time tea but the flowers are super cute and have a long vase life.⠀

Wedding Flowers Intensive Workshop

These stunning macro shots of the flowers used in a previous Wedding Flowers Intensive workshop were taken by @sarataylorphotos

For each Wedding Intensive workshop we run, we have a professional photographer document the experience and the photos can be used to promote yourself and your business or can just be a lovely souvenir to remember the experience by.

ABIA Wedding Industry Awards Finalist!

We couldn’t be more proud of Bloom College teacher Alyssa and her business partner and bestie, Rosie for being finalists in the ABIA 2019 Wedding Industry Awards!⁣

And with bouquets like this we’re not surprised!⁣

Congratulations to @thriveflowers!⁣

Do You Pin?

Here at Bloom College we LOVE Pinterest.  So much so, that we encourage all of our students (in particular the Career Change floristry students) to create an account and set up boards of things they love.

Are you just starting out with Pinterest? Once set up, we suggest you start with broad keywords such as ‘floral arrangements’, ‘vintage flowers’ and ‘wedding bouquet’.

You’ll soon see patterns emerging in what types of styles speak to you, and what you’re leaning towards.  You’ll also find inspiration when you’re looking to try something new.

If you’re attending our upcoming Event Styling or Wedding Bouquet workshops you may like to check out our ‘Wedding Flowers’ board, which has Chuppah’s, bouquets, table arrangement ideas – and heaps of other inspiration.

Happy Pinning!

At Bloom College Flower Design School we create Floristry Courses and Flower Workshops for beginners, the hobbyist and those wanting to pursue floristry as a career, including specific wedding floral design courses.

Our classes are a place where participants have fun, meet new friends and find their inner creativity. No prior experience is necessary, and we have a range of Courses and Workshops available across our three locations: Port Melbourne, Collingwood and Geelong.  Find out more.
